ParacleteMinistry@hotmail.com Information for the "Art of Spiritual Warfare"
"God created us to have abundant life, lived in His strength and in His love; however, we are prevented from doing that when our lives are filled with emotional and spiritual garbage. Cleaning us out is a process; a process that takes some time. Sheila Glidden is a gifted therapist who relies on prayer and the power of God, as well as her clinical skills to help people identify and deal with issues in their lives that are holding them in bondage and uncertainty. Taking a time for retreat, taking the time to reflect on your life and to allow God to speak to you followed by insightful interaction with Sheila and others in the group provides a big step in the cleansing process. You will continue to reflect and process difficult issues after you leave. The relatively small amount of invested time will pay huge dividends in the quality of your life and in your relationship with God." Pastor S. W.
"My Christian walk has been transformed since my counselor, Sheila Glidden, showed me how God wanted me to face what happened in my childhood and forgive. She pointed out to me that Jesus had a whole world to forgive for much more. The freedom I realized when I forgave was truly miraculous. Not only was I free from the anger I felt, but the brooding I experienced over hurts of my daily life seem to not bother me as much as before. Rather than letting anger and bitterness eat me from the inside and steal my Spirit from me, I am able to let hurts go. I can put them into my loving Father's hands and see others as children of the same God." B.F.
"The exercise of picking one of the clusters of emotions helped me focus on bitterness. I spoke openly and honestly then prayed with Sheila and the rest of the small group. They shared their horrendous stories and we were able to release strongholds in our lives with the laying on of ands. My response is 'thank you'." L.E.
I first heard of Sheila in April of 2022, after I had just moved to Salt Lake City, Utah. She was a speaker at a women’s conference that I attended. She had caught my attention because she was speaking about spiritual matters that the church usually shies away from, but because of the
experiences that I had in my past, this was exactly what I needed to hear. After the conference I signed up to connect with Sheila more. She invited me to weekly zoom prayer meetings where we gathered weekly for prayer and fellowship. I would meet with Sheila via phone calls every few weeks, where she walked me through some confusing times in my life. She helped me pray through things, as well as helped me unravel and break free from certain mind-sets and bondage that I had been in. Sheila has been in my life in diƯerent seasons, cheering me on, praying for me and nurturing that spiritual side that needed so much motherly love. She has been one of my biggest supporters, cheerleaders and vital people in my life that I go to for sound Godly council. Sheila is not afraid to tell you the truth, even when that is not what you want to hear and because of that I trust her. She is also someone that I always recommend friends and family to connect with and speak to when they are looking for spiritual guidance. I know that she is connected to Jesus and will always point people in His direction as well as bringing out the best in others. She has a gift of unlocking someone’s potential and helping them heal wounds so they can move forward.
I’m grateful to have Sheila in my life, not just as a spiritual mentor, but as a close friend. She has added on to my life and God has used her mightily in my walk.

You know those conversations where you end up feeling drained or the ones you leave and think about how much time you’ve lost? Yeah, me too! Imagine the complete opposite, all the way on the other side of the spectrum, as far as Z is from A on the alphabet experience—- that is what I get every time I talk to Sheila.
She does not have an incredible ability to make me feel like I’ve known her for years, or feel like I am heard, acknowledged, or understood- no, it’s not an ability. It’s her VERY NATURE.
She has helped me heal from past experiences, has encouraged me to look to the future with hopeful anticipation, and continues to guide me through present challenges and difficulties. She offers perspectives imbued with wisdom and truth and seasons her advice with empathy and tenderness. Like a weary or bone tired body that’s refreshed with a nutritive meal and plenty of sleep—— is my mind and spirit rejuvenated every time I talk to Sheila.
What a blessing and a gift she is in my life!
